“ Nice little eatery .... didn't even know about it. Soup of the day . Nice little menu... icecreams . Homemade cakes. Seating inside an out. Proper coffee too. ”
“ Lovely cafe- one of the best bacon rolls I've ever had, and coffee is delicious too! Plenty of space inside and outside and staff were very friendly and service was fast. Though do note it is a working farm so expect a few farm smells - but all part of the atmosphere! ”
“ Food was really good, catering to my uncles dietary requirements. The mocha coffee was good along with the milkshake. The atmosphere of the coffee shop was nice with people able to bring their dogs in. It was also nice being able to see the calves, sheep and lambs. The only troublesome part was the parking, as it was a bank holiday it was difficult to know where to park, so ended up worried that where I had parked was not right, even though it was out of the way. ”
“ Our first visit to Meadow Lea Farm, cycled there after a ride from Chester to Connahs Quay and back along the River Dee. Great coffee and cake to recharge the batteries. Certainly recommend visiting ”
“ Meadow Lea is wonderful little gem of a cafe at the end of the Greenway Cycle route, making it fantastic for cyclists and walkers. There are great facilities for cyclists and dogs are welcome too. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Seating is available both inside and outside. There are some toy sit-on trucks for small children to play on too. A small number of parking spaces are available. This cafe is situated on a working farm but I've always found it to be immaculately clean. ”
“ Excellent food with amazing service and quality. We stumbled across here on our way to somewhere else and both had a full breakfast. The portion size and the quality of the meat was just right - we will definitely be returning! ”
“ Just stopped for coffee and cake as a birthday treat. There was a lovely selection on display. I had the lemon cake. It was perfect. We each had a yummy cappuccino, also perfect. Inside was clean, warm and spacious. We sat outside to enjoy the sun and it was peaceful and pleasant. It seems to be a popular stop with cyclists and as we left we noticed that a bike pump was provided. A thoughtful little touch. The staff were lovely too. ”
“ It's a nice place to get brunch. I had the vegan breakfast, which was really nice. The sausages are the best non-meat sausages I've had. If I'm being picky, I'd say it could have done with some more mushrooms Good value and the staff are great! ”
